If only he knew,

That the sun isn't always bright,

The clouds aren't always high,

The water isn't always calm.

If only he knew,

That time won't wait,

The past won't stay,

And memories will fade.

If only he knew,

That love was pain,

The feelings were fake,

The sacrifice was not worth it.

He would have left,

He would have lied to himself about fate,

Or he would have erased everything in the first place.
